The geometry was off and it started clicking ominously during warmup. The fix turned out to be a G2 voltage calibration via WinDAS over serial, following a suggestion from the community. Now one of three 19" PC CRTs in the collection.
Got this today, looked wonky in the picture posted, wonkyness confirmed. I was trying to let it warm up to run image restore, which is said to fix many issues but, it started to click so, chickened out. Any experience with these @usa_retro? Can this be saved? #CRT

Some of you may remember this busted #Sony PC CRT. Well... Thanks to @Catzou's suggestion I've fixed it! Using a USB to serial TTL adapter and WinDAS and running white point calibration to bring the G2 voltage down. Game test pics below. 🧵👇#CRT #repair #restoration #RETROGAMING

This thing can go up to 1920x1440 @ 70Hz. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to display that resolution coming out of the RetroTINK 5x. Any ideas @retrotink2? I was using @jeffqchen's DC2VGA dongle and VGAxSCART into the TINK. It did work with the 1200p mode.
